Accounts Payable Specialist
Established General Contractor specializing in Insurance Restoration and Renovation seeks self motivated & detail oriented individual to join our team in Ferndale, Ml location. This office is fast paced, and ability to multi task necessary.
This position will be working on a team with other office staff members to perform the routine tasks assigned to the office administrative team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities are listed below. Other duties may be assigned.
Read computer files or gather records.
Enter information into computer or computes amounts due.
Prepare invoices, listing items sold, and amounts due.
Post transactions to accounting records such as work sheet, ledger, or computer files.
Post timecard payroll in accounting system.
Experience with General Ledger, Financials, and standard A/P processing
Assist with accounts payable, when necessary
Provide back up for reception when necessary
Other duties may be assigned.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant office / accounting work experience
Must have a strong understand of the Microsoft Office suite Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience in Construction or Insurance Restoration related field is a plus
Experience with Sage MasterBuilder or Quicken is a plus
Experience with ADP Payroll Services a plus
